This is the cloth bound limited edition published by Fourth Estate in 2012. You are a bidding on a new copy which has remained the publisher’s shrink wrap for over ten years. All copies are signed to the limitation page by the author in black ink. Unusually, Hilary Mantel had a particularly distinctive and calligraphic style signature. New copies are now scarce and collectable. The much admired twice Booker prize winning author died in September 2022. Best known for “The Wolf Hall Trilogy” of which this is volume two. Sometimes referred to as “The Thomas Cromwell Trilogy” and adapted for television.
