The authors are Alfred Gibson and William Pickford. A definitive history of our national game. Numerous illustrations and photographic plates throughout. Very difficult to find in good condition and as a complete set. Much sought after by collectors. This particular set is unique. Expertly rebound in full morocco by master book binder Ben Shepherd of Sangorski & Sutcliffe. No other remotely similar example is known to exist.
