RARE C.D. Boxed Set. “Rare tracks & forgotten gems” This is an ‘as new’ boxed set first released in 2007. The contents comprise four audio discs, one DVD & a lengthy booklet. Occasionally, these boxed sets are quite excellent and this is one such example. A retrospective on the singer songwriter’s long career including at least one track from each of her albums from 1969 - 2006. Highlights include a cover of the heartbreaking Lucinda Williams’ song “Sweet Old World” - the best version ever. Bruce Springsteen songs appear too, together with collaborations with other well known artists. It doesn’t get better. A great songwriter and performer.
