Celebrated American author Philip Roth’s enormously successful ‘coming of age’ novel which did cause a bit of controversy at time of publication. Especially in America. Perfectly acceptable in today’s more liberal society. Philip Roth died in 2018 and left a fine literary legacy. Outside of this auction a few copies of this volume can be found but expect to pay £500 + for an example in fine condition. An investment grade item.
